Thickens sauces and pastes quickly with remarkable clarity. Excellent for fruit sauces and glazes, pie fillings, and salad dressings. As a thickening agent, use 1/3 - 1/2 the amount of arrowroot in place of flour or cornstarch. Use 1 tablespoon of arrowroot to thicken one cup of liquid.
